Provides utility pole climbers 100% fall protection while climbing pole prior to connecting work positioning system. Allows maneuvering around obstructions such as multiple conductors, equipment, vines and other natural obstructions with added safety. Installation tool lets rope be lifted and secured to top of pole using standard hot stick. Rope grab with integrated shock absorber is attached to rope and harness D-ring completing connection. Climber can then ascend pole with complete fall protection. Compatible with most hot stick poles. Can also make rescuing a fallen worker faster and easier. Includes anchor tube, 80’ of 5/8” high dielectric rope, installation/removal tool, (1) carabiner, rope grab with integrated shock absorbing lanyard and carrying bag. Full system includes (1) additional carabiner, chain tensioner and web loop.
